ABOUT KKYL

WHO WE ARE

Kyle Radio is a Texas incorporated nonprofit, with a 501c3 designation. It was founded May 25, 2024, for the purpose of operating a low-power community radio station. Kyle Radio is working in collaboration with Austin Airwaves, which is the FCC permit holder. Kyle Radio was awarded the call letters KKYL LP and the frequency 94.1 in September 2024.

KKYL will broadcast non-commercial educational, public affairs, entertainment, and news programming, and serve as a key component of local emergency alert and response systems.
