WHAT IS KYLE RADIO?
Kyle Radio is a Texas-incorporated nonprofit with a 501c3 designation. It was founded on May 25, 2024, for the purpose of operating a low-power community radio station. Kyle Radio is working in collaboration with Austin Airwaves, which is the FCC permit holder. Kyle Radio was awarded the call letters KKYL LP and the associated frequency in September 2024.
KKYL broadcasts non-commercial educational, public affairs, entertainment, and news programming, serving as a key component of local emergency alert and response systems.
